Organisms noticed - I heard a few birds here and there (surprisingly more than last time). Most plants by this point were dead, only small patches of grass were still alive. Most of the leaves on the trees were gone.

Changes from the last time - last time I thought all the leaves were gone, but the trees seemed even less alive this time. So were many of the plants... I saw very little green. Normally I see a few birds, but this time I could only hear them in the distance. The water level wasn't much different, but the water was moving much more rapidly, faster than I've ever seen it.
